Napachai Rodboon graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Kasetsart University with first class honors in 2014.Then he received the Petchra Pra Jom Klao Research Scholarship from King’ s Mongkut University of Technology Thonburi and the Postgraduate Scholarships for a Research from Office of the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) for his Master degree in Biochemical Technology. His thesis focused on the Roles of transcriptional regulator Asg1 for regulation of gene expression and programmed cell death in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. After he finished his Master’s degree, he joined Prof. Surapol Issaragrisil’s team and under supervision of Dr. Sudjit Luanpitpong at the SiSCR. His current work focuses on a Metabolic based reprogramming for therapeutic strategies targeting of cancer stem-like cells (CSCs) in hematological malignancy.
