Nattaya Damkham  graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University (Thailand) with second class honour in 2008. She received the scholarship from Chulalongkorn University Graduated School to commemorate the 72nd anniversary of his Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej for her Master program in Biotechnology, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University. Her thesis focused on cloning and expression of exporter genes to improve L-alanine production in Escherichia coli. After she finished her Master’s degree, she joined Prof. Surapol Issaragrisil’s team at the SiSCR. Her current work focuses on differentiation of hESCs and patient-specific iPSCs to hematopoietic lineage especially erythroid cells for drug screening.
